ATTACHMENT, SEXUALITY AND THE BODY: A COMPREHENSIVE THERAPY FOR RELATIONSHIP AND SEXUAL CONCERNS
12 CE credits (APA, MCEP, LCSW, MFT, AASECT)
This training examines the research on the interaction between adult attachment, sex drive, and the projection of original family issues onto an intimate partner. It offers a holistic model and embodied approach to resolving unfinished business from the past and deepening sexual fulfillment.
Utilizing breath work, embodied processing and experiential exercises, we explore methods for becoming more attuned to present experience, to the subtle cues of the body, and to micro-communications transmitted through gesture and facial expression. Our objectives are to enrich our work with clients and ourselves on issues of intimacy and sexual enhancement.
